What Do My Blood Test Reports Indicate?

I have had some blood tests to check my hormone levels and my specialist was horrified by my Oestrodiol levels jump of 2120 from a 280 level in January this year. He suggested hysterectomy due to past endometriosis, current adenomyosis, dysmenorrhea and menorragia. He is concerened that such levels are off the chart.

Hello. Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic. High estradiol have a variety of ill effects ranging from diabetes, hypertension to even cancer. However in car you have adenomyosis and endometriosis with menorragia it is advisable to go in for hysterectomy to improve the symptoms. Dub or menorragia is indicative for hysterectomy esp when the size of uterus is large due to adenomyosis or leiomyomas. Hope I ve helped you out. Thanks.
