What Do My Blood Test Results Indicate?
Hi Yesterday I have given blood & urine for testing and I received blood report at night. In that report it says Salmonella typhoid ( o) is 1:40 dilution positive... Doctor says that it is a starting stage... I don t know whether I have typhoid or not... I don t know how to take the precautions for that... what type of food & medicinesshould I need to take . Could you please advise on this... Thanks in advance.

Let me tell you that this a vidal test report which is done for typhoid and it is negative which means that you do not have typhoid.
It would have been better had you mentioned your symptoms and when those symptoms started.
In the first 2-3 days of typhoid, widal test is usually negative and in that case Typhi DOT IgM is a correct test to detect typhoid.
