Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I am 27 week 3 day pregnant my ultrasound show my AFI 7.0 cm. Can I take ARG9 powder what be the dose. I am 27 year old its my second baby. At my first I suffer same prblm but at that time my AFI was too low it was 4.5 cm . please tell me dose of ARG9.
Normal AFI is 7-25 cms. If you are able to keep yourself well fed & well hydrated you may not need ARG9 powder.
In my opinion, you should get yourself closely monitored by your treating gynae so that intravenous or oral fluids can be given to help you have a better AFI.
ARG9 powder helps to increase the placenta circulation to reduce the chances of miscarriage & have better baby growth. Before taking the powder you should keep your treating doctor informed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
