General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Suggestive of fungal infection. As per the Papanicolaou (Pap) smear report the cervix appears to be normal at the time of taking the smear. There is no evidence of early precancerous or cancerous cells.

Presence of budding forms of candida is suggestive of fungal infection. This infection is more common in during pregnancy, females with diabetes, on hormonal contraceptive pills or antibiotics or immunosuppressives like steroids.

Consult your doctor for possible treatment with antifungal medications. A feedback is appreciated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
