Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello doctor, i have undergone laparascopy and hysterescopy two months before for bilateral tubal block and septate uterus. Left tube was diagnosed with heavy tb infection and have been started with AKT. Left ovary is functional and healthy. Right tube and ovary have been surgically removed before. Its been 3 cycles after that ( my periods are very regular Alhumdulillah) but pattern has changed- brownish discharge all over the month and heavy bleeding during periods( after metroplasty doctor has incorporated IUCD). I was advised tab progynova and tab meprate for 3 cycles whicv is over now. I want to know is this normal? Also i want to know when can the IUCD be removed. And can we go for HSG and try naturrally for conception .
You can conceive naturally but I would recommend you to wait till the completion of your TB medicine as this could hinder in your pregnancy. Plus IUCD can be removed easily all you need to do is consult your obstetrician and she will remove it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
