General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description I am of the opinion that Your Triglycerides levels are raised, else values are normal.

Hypertriglyceridemia can be managed by any Medicine specialist, you don't need a cardiologist for that. Do you have shortness of breath, palpitations, weakness in limbs, abnormal tiredness?

Then only you should have an echo done by meeting a cardiologist. Generally, we use the "statin" class of drugs such as Atorvastatin to control this.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
