Hi,
Your blood reports, which have been presented, are all in normal range. However, the report of your US is showing
hyperemia of thyroid, most likely
thyroiditis. Thyroiditis is a group of diseases of thyroid resulting in hyperemia/ inflammation of the thyroid gland.
By far the most common of this group of thyroiditis, Hoshimoto thyroiditis is more common. Usually a swelling in the thyroid gland, also known as
goiter, is the presenting symptom in Hoshimoto thyroiditis. Here, US report of prominence of thyroid along with hyperemia may be a presenting symptom of Hoshimoto thyroiditis.
Management of Hoshimoto thyroid is by observation and monitoring the periodic level of thyroid hormones and trying to maintain it to normal levels, particularly level of
TSH. However, if symptoms of pain, pressure on neck and breathing difficulties etc. become more distressing, then treatment by immuno-suppressant drugs or even surgery may be required.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
