Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am in early pregnancy .. my last period was on 5th of july .. and i just forgot to tell the doctor that it was on 5th instead i told it was on 27th june .. so as they count it is a 5 weeks 2 days pregnancy .. but in real it is not even 4 week done .. pregnancy results came positive .. they told me to do an ultra sound as i had a miscarriage 4 months ago .. and the result of ultra sound is that right ovaries is 16 cc and is bulky and there is no sac in endomentrial cavity .. they tell it is posibily an ectopic pregnancy .. but i think because of the early test and mistake of the date .. the sac was not found .. and it is mistaken .. i am very nervous i am in a need of a baby .. please tell me ur suggestion
I have read your question thoroughly and I understand your concern. It is too early in your pregnancy so I would suggest you recount your duration of pregnancy according to your date of last menstural period and have a repeat ultrasound after 2 weeks. To rule out ectopic pregnancy serial HCG levels in the blood can be done.
I hope this answers your query. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns. Wishing you good health.
