What Do My Ultrasound Test Results Indicate?
Hi I am 6 weeks 3 days. I have had three miscarriages in the past. I had a U/s today and they said g sac looked irregular and no heart beat detected. They seemed more concerned about irregular sac shape. I have to go back in a week. Have you seen this before and it turned out ok? Or is this the end of my pregnancy.

We can not say it is the end of your pregnancy.At 6 weeks of gestation, heartbeat might not be seen.The abnormal shape of the sac is not yet something to be worried about. I suggest you get another ultrasound at 11 or 12 weeks of gestation.Also, 3 miscarriages means this pregnancy is a pregnancy at risk.So i suggest closed follow-up by your Gynecologist.
