What Do Numbness And Swelling On The Face Indicate?
On labor day of this year I felt numbness on the left side of my face by my mouth and after a while it started to swell by my mouth and it swelled half way across my upper lip . It went down by next day but a couple of weeks latter I woke up one morning the other side of my mouth was swollen and it swelled about half way across my bottom of my lower lip by next day it had gone down and now it seems to happens about a month or two apart. I had a bout with it yesterday right side of my fac was swollen when I got up in morning after a couple of hours both lips were swollen worse than they had previously. Today all around the in side of my lips feel sore maybe from where my skin stretched from swelling. Maybe you could tell me what it might be

welcome to hcm ..it may be some allergic response or angioneurtic edema ..for the angioneurotic edema i siggest serum c 1 esterase test
your symtoms suggest it more to some allergy to some food etc .please try to note that does it occur after some food
if it is allergy then you have to take steroid as prednisolone 5 mg three times or tab levocetrizine 5 mg two times
