General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am sorry for the fastidous and scary situation you are in.

The swollen hand after trans radial Cath was carried out associated with numbness and tingling is suggesting possible local clots.

During the procedure, intra radial vasodilators are used to prevent radial artery spasms. Perhaps dilatation could have occurred abnormally, causing swollen hands.

It is the duty of the doctor who carried out the procedure to take care of your current problem with swollen hand. Ask him/her to get helped.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini
