I woke up this morning and experienced for the first time while in the bathroom... my right arm went sorta numb and tingly kinda like when you sleep on it.. but it then subsided leaving my arm weak and strange feeling, kinda like I didnt have complete control of it or had to really concentrate to make it do what I needed it to.. it still feels this way.. I am very healthy dont take meds.. dont smoke and drink socially.. I workout 5 days a week.. I am bigger was a power lifter most of my adult life.. thanks.

Hello,

I think it is just nerve irritation which has happened unnoticed which cause you tingling sensation. If there was more pressure, then the nerve would have damaged and cause residual weakness present for some time.

But, usual body heals on its own without any treatment necessary. If it is too much bothering you, then you can always get your blood sugar tested to rule out if it is due to diabetes or it could be due to vitamin B12 deficiency.

Add on lots of nuts, fruits, vegetables to your diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
