Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do Pain And Burning Sensation In The Feet Indicate?
Hi - I have burning, painful feet...frequently!! It interferes with my activity level and my sleep. It has been suggested I try GABA and Methyl B12 to see if they can reduce my symptoms. I take levothyroxine for hypothyroid and flecainide for SVT/PVC. What is your advice?
Are you diabetic? Are you hypertensive? Burning in the feet may be due to neuropathy, may be caused by diabetes or hypothyroidism or B12, thiamine deficiency etcetera.
Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Consult your neurophysician and get nerve conduction done and get treated accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
