What Do Pain And Burning Sensation In The Thighs Indicate?

i am experiencing pain in my outer thigh area. The feeling like the area has been burned, but there is a feeling of numbness, also. It has been like this for several months. There is an intensity or rush of heat, then there is a cool down. This happens off and on throughout the day.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It may be possible that all these symptoms are due to nerve impingement. Usually, anterolateral femoral nerve impingement could have caused you this symptom.

Pains, burning, numbness, etcetera happen with the nerve injury. If the nerve injury is mild due to trivial trauma or due to bad posture then it is reversible.

So, you need to take vitamin B12 tablets like neurobione forte for this for a month. Vitamin B12 tablets help in healing the nerves. Don't neglect it because if the injury becomes irreversible then you might have palsy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
