What Do Pain And Inflammation In The Feet Indicate?
i need to diagnose exactly what my foot toe pain is my toes on my left foot keep flaring up with redness and very sensitive pain to the touch.. it can be any one of the three toes between the big toe. and little toe .. my toes usually r very numb and cold .... im in minnesota . very cold .. ive tryed special shoes and boots its getting worse and nothing seems to work
Foot pain usually is due to various causes. Greater toe pain is typically due to gout, an increase in uric acid. There may be other causes too. Do blood check up to see the presence of inflammation. ESR, CRP, URIC ACID level. In cold temperature, if there is any color change in your toes, then you should get screened for any vascular disorders. Once the primary tests are done and if there is any abnormality, you should too get screened for any autoimmune disorders like rheumatoid.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shakeel Khan
