What Do Pain And Itching Around An Implanon Insertion Site Indicate?

Hi, I had the Implamon inserted a week ago, the bruising is gone & it wasn t hurting at all, until last night, when I woke up with the area feeling very sore & itchy, red,warm & irritated (area around & containing the rod is raised/swollen). I am just wondering if this is my body rejecting the rod? Thank you.

your body is not rejecting the implanon .it is just skin infection ..please go to medical practitioner .he will give antibiotics and painkillers for this ..
