Hi I ve been suffering for the past 2 years of: pressure in sides of the head/pain. Drowsiness/loss of balance. Stuffed/dry nose. What seems as an attack of shortness of breath. I went to alot of doctors I did most of the tests. Only thing I came across allergies/sinus and tmj?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
From what you describe it looks like sinusitis due to allergy. You have to be treated for allergies to stop sinusitis.
*Topical nasal decongestants can be helpful if used for no more than three to four days.
*Antihistamines block inflammation caused by an allergic reaction so they can help to fight symptoms of allergies that can lead to swollen nasal and sinus passages.
* Corticosteroids nasal spry to reduce inflammation such Butesonide may be prescribed by your doctor.
* also interleukin spry may be used.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
