What Do Pain And Swelling In The Knees Indicate?

My husband injured his knee 10 days ago. All he did was stand up from sitting on the couch. He has swelling on his knee the pain is manly in the back of the knee on the right side and on the front of the knee left side. Could you please let us know what could be wrong he has had 3 surgeries on that knee for MCL but he said that it doesn t feel the same as those injuries. Thank your

No, we cannot tell what could be wrong with this history. Kindly get an x-ray knee done. without that, we can distinguish a ligament tear or fracture or anything.

As you say pain and swelling that means there could be some trivial trauma and as he had previous episodes before so it's better to get an x-ray.

Please come back to us with reports. For now, he can take any painkiller available.
