What Do Pain And Swelling In The Knees Indicate?

I ve hurt the back of my knee it s swollen front and back very painful and I m not able to walk on that leg. I m using crutches to get around. I also have been icing and put heat on it. it s been 3 weeks and dont seem to be getting any better. what else can I do for it.

Hello,

Kindly get an x-ray of the knee done to know what the pathology is. Without that, we can just treat it as arthritis with some anti-inflammatory agents.

If there was any trivial trauma happened unnoticed then there can be hairline fractures or ligament tear. So kindly get back to us with x-ray knee and with reporting.
