Hi There

After going through your query I understand your concern.

I would like to tell you that Every surgical procedure carries some side effects with it like, bleeding, local site temporary swelling, infection, tenderness, keloid formation etc. Your swelling can be a temporary swelling but it needs a proper evaluation to exclude the risk of further infection. A best course of treatment will depend on how well your blood sugar levels are controlled.

Kindly consult with your Surgeon for physical evaluation of swelling and Endocrinologist/Diabetologist for your uncontrolled sugar levels.

Hope to have been helpful.

Kind Regards
Dr Navneet Bansal
