What Do Pain And Swelling In The Left Testicle Indicate?

I squatted down earlier today and my blue jeans squeezed my left testicle. It hurt immediately and grew worse when I stood for a couple hrs. My testicle is swollen and the pain was moving up the left side of abdomen. It felt like I had been kicked. Now I’m lying down with ice and I took two Aleve and the pain is receding.should I get this checked?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This pain is umcommon with just squeeze of the jeans. Although, severe pain calls for an immediate check up in any Emergency Room (ER) as it can be testicular torsion which is an emergency. Please go to the ER immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Adnan Iqbal
