What Do Pain And Swelling In The Right Armpit Indicate?

Hello. I was stung by a hornet on the back of my head about 2-3 hours ago. It swelled up a little and was painful as any bee sting would be. Right now, however, my right armpit is swollen and I m feeling aches down my right arm and wrist. Should I be taking Benadryl or putting ice packs on the swollen (lymph nodes) area? Or should I be concerned about anything else?

You are having allergic reaction by bee sting. You can apply ice over swollen area. You are advisable to take antihistaminic group drug like benadryl for inflammation relief.Low dose short term steroid course also can be prescribed .You can consult physician for examination and get prescription of mentioned group of drug.
