What Do Pain, Swelling And Numbness In The Fingers Indicate?

I am a 45 year old female that was diagnoised with CAD at the age of 35 and had gestational diabetes with 2 of my pregnancies. I am currently having problems with my fingers on both hands becoming swollen, numb and very achy. I have had fasting labs done and all my levels were alright. Lately I have noticed that I am extremely hungry and I have lost some weight over the last 4 months without trying. I really don t know what is going on and would love some insight on what maybe the problem.

Welcome to HealthcareMagic
you have lost some weight without trying ..it is serious thing
please get thyroid profile checked .
for monitoring of diabetes rely on HbAic besides fasting and 2 hrs after meal test .
Also get checked for insulin level to rule out insulin resistance .
If you are on oral drugs for diabetes please request your doctor to put you on insulin .
also get serum uric acid and RA factor done .
Last but not the least is ultrasound abdomen
