i have had skin rashes that act like cyst. i can feel little sticks under skin but wont come out. it is very very painful and fills up with puss that i have to drain every 2 hours. have had this for 10 months. it feels like prickly things sticking me when im picking and. the puss is sooo thick. when it dries it dries as hard as concrete. the rashes are on my cheek and under my ear down the jawline. with a dark circle surrounding the area affected. it almost looks loke polymorphous light eruption but 10 x worse. sounds crazy but i thought i had worms in the face at one time
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
By your history and description, possibility of recurrent skin infections is more likely. So better to consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination of lesions. You will also need blood reports like sugar level to rule out diabetes as these kind of infections are common in diabetics. You will need oral antibiotics, painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs.Local application of antibiotic cream is also beneficial.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
