What Do Palpitations Along With Headaches And Dizziness Indicate?

My husband has been experiencing a sudden onset of his heart racing without activity, headache in the front of his head, tingling in his hands and feet, dizziness, feeling faint and weak. These episodes last about 5 to 10 mintues, and we are wondering if this is something to really worry about ? He has diabetes, high blood pressure, Marfan s syndrome, and is also suffering from depression, and anxiety due to being Bipolar rapid cycle.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear .Thank you for using hcm. I think the symptoms you are reffering to are the most serious signs and symptoms associated with Marfan syndrome involve the cardiovascular system: undue fatigue, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, racing heartbeats, or chest pain radiating to the back, shoulder, or arm. Cold arms, hands, and feet can also be linked to Marfan syndrome because of inadequate circulation.Management often includes the use of beta blockers such as propranolol or if not tolerated calcium channel blockers or ACE inhibitors. Best regards.
