What Do Pregnancy Symptoms Post Hysterectomy Suggest?
I had a hysterectomy in 2006 and had my uterus, cervix, and one ovarie and one tube removed. leaving me with only one ovarie and tube that has been clamped...i am expirencing signs of pregnancy and i cant understand why or if that can even be possible. my friend had a partial hysterectomy and then started to get signs of pregnancy and had to ruch her to surgery because the found she was pregnant in her tube. is this possible
Hi i did review your concerns. If only uterus is removed and tubes and ovaries are kept then also there is negligible chance of pregnancy as after hysterectomy the vault is closed and semen cannot penetrate. However pregnancy like symptoms can be caused by a beta hcg secreting tumor in ovaries and a rare case of ectopic. I would advice you to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated in form of an ultrasound abdomen and a beta hcg test. I hope this helps. Wish you all the best. Thank you for using healthcaremagic.
