Hello Doctor We had chest xray for 23 months old son due to complaints of cough and breathing problem. Xray says Prominent bronchovascular markings are seen in bilateral lung fields more pronounced in the right direction paracardiac region What does it mean?Is this any serious problem?What is the reason for this in little kid? How to diagnos in depth ?To which doctor i should consult? Paediatritian or cardialogist or ENT?. What is the treatment for this problem? Will this problem continue even after treatment?We are tensed. Please advice.

since you have just gone for x ray and the findings are predominantly on right side, i assume it is due to infection, the easily treatable cause. before you do any thing, you need to meet a pediatrician, he will then triage the problem and let you know the treatment plan.
