What Do Pus Cells 5-8 And Red Cells 3-5 Shown In Urine Test Mean?

I have done a Urine microscopic examination the results were as follow: Pus Cells : 5-8 Red Cella : 3-5 Will i be able to know about that please? I have no clew whats wrong and i have to wait for my doctor s return . Any way i am sort of worried . Will you please let me know.

Hi welcome to healthcare magic,
I understand your query and concern.
Your symptoms are suggestive of Urinary tract infection which can be bacterial.I advise you to take Tab.Norflox 400 mg twice daily for 5 days,Tab.pantop D ,tab.Ibuprofen for 14 days.Maintain genital hygiene.Practise safe sex.Drink 3-4 litres of water.If still symptoms persist get an ultrasound abdomen and urine culture and antibiotic sensitivity,
Consult your nephrologist for expert management and follow up.
