Hello Doc. Good day! I was diagnosed with UTI and after a week of antibiotic (Cefaphalixin) my doctor as advised me to get another urine test. I already have the result. The result is Color: Yellow, Transparency:Clear, pH:6.0 Pus Cells: 2-4/hf Red Blood Cells: 0-2/hpf, Epithelial Cells: FEW, Bacteria:Few .. Is this normal already? Do i still have UTI? Thank you.

Hi,

1. As you said you had already taken one week of antibiotics and your urine report says only few bacteria. Then you don't need to take any more antibiotics.

2. Take lots of fluid.

3. Remain hydrated.

4.You can also take Citralka syrup twice a day for 5 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita,
