Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do Rashes And Swelling On The Hands And Legs Indicate?
my daughter has rashes at the legs and hands. she did finger positive pressure, and its positive. she went to the doctor and was diagnosed with viral exanthema by merely looking at her legs. the rashes is now 6 days before with edema today her legs are swelling.
If she has been taken to a doctor, he would have definitely prescribed antiviral medications to her, and if so, then rashes should have been decreased. But I do not know why you have not given that history.
And as you say there is progressive swelling, then that means there is some other problem going on in her body so kindly show to a physician to get it examined and get the necessary treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
