General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The rash is common in jaundice. It is caused due to bile products being deposited in the skin.

I suggest using antihistamines for the rash such as Cetirizine daily.

I also recommend going to the emergency room for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
