What Do Re Spots Above Ankle Indicate?
I have red spots above my ankle, on the left inside of those spots, kinda looks like a burn and a few more. One is higher up above my knee near my vein. I had complications from foot surgery due to Mrsa. I had to have a pic line implanted in my arm and go twice a day for nine days. The three spots were there before the surgery. It really has me concerned.

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is petechie .You need to rule out disorders of coagulation and get investigations like bleeding time, clotting time and platelet count done.Tablets containing Vitamin C may also help. Topical Vitamin E preparations can also be used. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
