Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. It can be due to a skin infection. Some advices that I can give to you are : -Applying warm compresses to the affected area on the child for 20 minutes at least 3–4 times a day may ease the discomfort and help encourage the boil to drain. -Wash the affected area with antibacterial soap -Apply some antibiotic ointment -Apply a loose bandage Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help! Regards, Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi
