What Do Recurring Weak Feeling In Chest With Slightly Rapid Heartbeat Suggest?

I have what feels like a empty or weak feeling in my chest along with a slightly rapid heartbeat. I only get this feeling maybe 3 times a month. Could it be that Im not eating enough ? I didnt eat much for a majority of the day. It wasnt until dinner that I ate quite a bit.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

Yes, anemia and malnutrition are quite possible and can present with such symptoms. I would recommend an EKG, comprehensive blood panel, check on nutrient levels, chest x-ray and a 2D echocardiography.

Best of luck.
