What Do Red And Sore Puss-filled Scabs On The Scalp Indicate?
My daughter has terrible Crusty scabs that have appeared on her head. First there was only one now there are over 8 and also has spread to her back area where she now has three. They look red and sore but doesn t appear to be painful for her, they then puss and turn to crusty yellow scabs. what can this be and what shall I do.

This may be due to infection and some oral antibiotic like augmentin (if she is not allergic to penicillins) or azythromycine (if allergic to penicillin) can be tried to help with it. Meanwhile she should try to avoid poking on them and should keep a good hygiene to prevent spread of them.
If no improvement in 3-4 days with the treatment other causes should be considered.
