What Do Red Blisters On The Roof Of The Mouth Indicate?
I just found red bloody spots on the roof of my mouth Mouth is not sore or painful. I just saw them this evening I have been taking Clarithromyc 500 mg for 4 days ln mormimg and one at night, I also now have terrible ringing in my ears, could it be the drug
Red blisters on the roof of the mouth can be a reaction to antibiotic Clarithromycin and many a times it can cause Ototoxic side effect out of which ringing in ears or tinnitus can be one..
So my suggestion is to consult your Physician or an Emergency room and get evaluated and a clinical examination can be done and if the symptoms are all due to antibiotic, it should be immediately stopped..
You can be advised alternate antibiotics and along with it start doing warm saline gargles to resolve the red spots and if needs you can be given medications for tinnitus resolution like Amitriptyline.
Hope this helps..
Regards.
