Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have red raised bumps on both of my arms. They will dry out and the skin in thatt area will change or lose color. In the past I have been prescribed topical cream. And I have also used excel a over the counter creams. None seem to take care of it and it always comes back. I m afraid it is more of an internal issue that needs something more than a topical cream. What can you advise
I think you may be suffering from eczema.
You can use Corticosteroids creams to help reduce inflammation. Clean the area with gentle soap and dry it properly. Use calamine lotion or petroleum jelly to moisturize it. Use corticosteroid creams. Wear cotton made and loose shirt.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka ,
