Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a small cluster of red bumps - maybe 4-6 - on the lower right side of my back. They are tender to touch. The right side of my neck is also stiff. I contacted my doctors office and someone is supposed to contact me in the afternoon tomorrow, but co-workers have suggested that it resembles shingles and I didn t know if I should try to be seen somewhere tonight for early identification and treatment. Not sure if that would make a difference or not.
hi herpes is usually a cluster of rash or eruption in a single dermatome(single nerve supplied area). Severe pain full even after the bumps are gone due to the open nerve endings.
