Hello. I have a red dry circles on my temples on my face, but I think they are spreading around to my cheeks. They are itchy a little bit, and so red and dry. I was wondering if you can help me and tell me what should i use, cuz i do not have any income to see a dermatologist. Thanks
I can understand your concern for red circles on temples. Let me reassure you first that it is quite usual to get such kind of red circles on temples and is most often seen in our clinical practice. After reading your query it appears to be Urticaria or can be due to sun light exposure causing the redness.
Do not scratch or rub the skin as it can lead to further aggravation. In my patients with such kind of problem I generally prescribe a cream containing hydrocortisone or calamine lotion and give antihistamine like cetrizine for two times. If the lesions are not reduced then I go for a short course of oral steroids.
I reassure you that you will be alright soon. Take care and all the best
