Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So recently for the past two-three weeks I’ve been finding red flakes in my stool, it doesn’t happen in all of them but more then less. Anyway, I do not have any pain. I have soft stools, there not diarrhea and they’re not hard. Could you help me figure this out? Been very worried and haven’t gone to the doctors yet, but will soon.
I have evaluated your query thoroughly. You go to the laboratory for a stool test. It is helpful for you as to whether there is blood or not in your stools. If normal, then don't worry about it. If there is any positive finding, consult a gastroenterologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Purva Patel
