Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my son has a rash (raised pinkish/redish bumps) on one side of his belly button, spreading to the side of where he noticed a tick, and pulled it out--but leaving the head. The tick was found within the last few days. He has not appeared to have any fever or headache. do you have a recommendation?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. His rashes are due to tic infection. Better to give him ivermactin and albendazole course for complete removal of tics. Wash his clothes antiseptic solution. Give him only cotton clothes to wear. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your son. Thanks.
