What Do Red Rashes Below The Knees Indicate?

Hi, I have this strange pink-red bruise on my leg bellow my knee, and I m not quite sure what it is. It doesn t look quite like a regular bruise, it s approximately the size of a quarter and has the same color as semi-irritated mosquito bite. Also, from my best estimate it has been about 2 1/2 months since I ve first noticed it. I would ve thought a bruise have faded by now, so I m a bit concerned that it may be something irregular.
