What Do Red Rashes On The Arms And Thighs Indicate?

I have a red rash under my arms and on the inside of my thighs...the skin rather peels away...and there are knots under the skin...I assume it is some sebaceous issue...what could be the cause and more importantly, what is the cure...I have had this a good while...could it be the water...or an environmental or allergic reaction to something...or a systemic infection...or a fungus...I am not diabetic...but I do have Hashimoto s Thyroiditis...and it has cleared up when I have been on an antibiotic almost entirely...

It is possible that you may have intertrigo which is inflammation of the skin folds. It can be associated with fungal or bacterial infections or both.Intertrigo occurs because of- friction, heat, moisture, maceration. The key to treatment involves addresses these issues. Barrier protect creams such as zinc based creams may help with the friction, wearing loose cool cloths. There are some combination creams such as green goo or triple paste that may help.
