What Do Red Rashes On The Right Side Of The Face Indicate?

I have five small red patches of skin on the right side of my face, on and below the temple. One has been on my temple for at least 6 months; the others have recently developed. They are about the circumference of a pea. What could they be? Are they treatable?

Hello,
It is hard to tell without seeing these rashes. They are most likely either a fungal infection or a form of dermatitis. I would first try an antifungal cream like Lamisil and if that does not work try hydrocortisone cream. If neither works see your doctor. You will need to use the Lamisil for several weeks to see a result. Same with the hydrocortisone cream.
