I am currently in Turkey and some guy was going around with a monkey(don t know type) and when he put it on my arm I could feel it holding on. I have got back.to the hotel an noticed 3 small red dots which have a broken the top layer of skin maybe more (not a doctor) but they are a little raised and you can see where the skin has been slightly damaged. I haven t had any injections and don t even know when my last tetnas was? What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You should clean the area with warm water and soap and after gently drying it you can apply some local antibiotic cream like Mupirocine and watch the area for any redness or swelling or any other worsening. In case there is any worsening you will need to see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
