What Do Red Spots On The Chest And Thighs Indicate?

I have tiny red dots (non- itching) on my chest and thighs. They have been on me for about two weeks. They develop a tiny white covering on the ones on my thighs. No pimples, or pus. They do not go away. I take hydroxyzine (one daily ,10 mg) for deep hand itch.

Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of red spots on the chest and thighs which seems due to allergic reaction and could be due to folliculitis.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to
- Keep the site clean and dry.
- Apply over the counter antibiotics ointment.
- Avoid pricking bumps. apply cold compresses.
- Wear loose pyjama.
- Take over the counter antihistamine like Benadryl and protect it from sun ray exposure.

If the condition doesn't get well then consult a dermatologist for proper examination. The doctor may prescribe corticosteroid ointment, antibiotics or immunosuppressants.
