What Do Red Spots On The Fingers While Suffering From Flu Indicate?

I ve been sick with a cold/flu the last three days. Today I noticed I have two red spots on my fingers. They look and feel like burns--- sensitive to touch, slightly raised, about 1 cm diameter. Would this be related to my viral symptoms or something separate?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This looks to be related to a viral illness. Viruses many times causes a rash. Mostly it's not a localised Rash but still v possible. Specially if its raised and itches.

Another possible reason is if its an allergy to any drug that you might be taking.

Generally, we advise you to watch out carefully as it should settle in little time. See your doctor if it extends which is unlikely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
