What Do Repetitive Movements In A Toddler While Teething Indicate?
We believe a 3 year old child gave a 4 month old baby at least a half caplet of extra strength excedrin. We had no clue. The baby was teething and fussy that day. We noticed not long after the child ran from the room that the baby seemed to be showing repetitive movements and making sucking noises. Later she began clinching her hands together and looking upwards. We all began looking online for an explanation. Some of us thought she might be having a seizure. I looked for repetitive movements in a child thats teething and it said fake seizures. When it was finally decided something was definitely wrong we took her to the emergency room. The next morning they said the baby had amphedamines or meth in her system. My question is would excedrin extra strength cause these reactions and results. The baby has recovered and only seems to have a rash but has been removed from our care
