Hello this is K.Niranjan(22yrs, male). I have a problem with my hair and after searching in the internet I came to an opinion that this is Alopecia Areata.. I have a round shaped white spot on the back side of my head and it is bigger than a two rupee coin. It affected me last year November.. it was small in the beginning and I have tried some medicines suggested by village people but the problem has not stopped.. Please suggest me the treatment..
As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
