What Do Scars In The Lungs Indicate?

My sister has fibrolenear densities last 2015 she has a meication for 6 months, last may she has a pre employment medical and find out in the x ray that she has a scars in the lower left side of her lungs,her last x ray was last may this year..she has a room mate and her room mate find out yesterday that hi has a scar and the doctor give him medicine for it..may question is it is posible that may sister can cause the scars og her room mate???hope you can answer may question..thank you..

Thanks for given information,According to the situation yor sister diagnosed lung scar seems to be Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) causes scar tissue to grow inside your lungs. Usually, when you breathe in, oxygen moves through tiny air sacs into your bloodstream. From there, it travels to organs in your body. IPF scar tissue is thick, like the scars you get on your skin after a cut.
Lung scar may be transmitted through air particles
